Sage green velvety leaves, sometimes flushed with purple. When flowering time is approaching the leaves turn almost dark salmon pink and present a bright pink central flower spike from which the delicate purple flowers appear. As if that wasn’t enough B. Abdita is extremely versatile when it comes to making arrangements as the rosette like shape creates a good contrast to the more upright varieties. Regular misting is important and feeding during the Summer will encourage flowering. Medium plants are about 5-7cm across and just the right size for one of our globe terrariums.
